My name is Holly Leake and I am a certified Canine Coach, professional dog walker and pet sitter. I used to be a child care practitioner, but I decided I needed a career change in 2016 after being diagnosed with Endometriosis. I've always dreamed of working with animals, and always had an obsession with dogs since I can remember, so I started dog walking for dog owners in my local community. I live in Keele with my lovely husband Ashley, who is also passionate about animals and often helps out during busy periods.
At the very start of my career, I was walking many dogs with reactivity and in my efforts to find solutions and coping strategies for them, I became fascinated with canine behaviour and health. I became pet first aid trained with ProTraining in 2018 and then I began studying with the British Canine College and obtained a Level 3 Canine Care Diploma (Distinction) and an in depth qualification in Canine Health and First Aid (Distinction). I am A Certified Canine Coach with Canine Principles and I'm also a Canine Raw Nutrition Specialist with the Dogs Naturally University.
Now I am Studying Canine Behaviour Level 5, as well as Canine Reactivity and Canine Nutrition Courses with the Canine Principles College. I have also completed several shorter certificate courses with this course provider, such as a Canine Fear Certificate. My passion, is working with fearful and reactive dogs and I'm aiming to specialise in this area of canine behaviour. I love the animals I work with and treat them as if they were my own. I also really value my friendships with my loyal customers/clients and feel it is very important to maintain a good working relationship.
I have been fortunate enough to work with a large variety of breeds as well as different ages and needs. I am also very experienced with senior and sick dogs and have many years of experience caring for cats and smaller pets. Overall, I love my business and I'm really pleased to say it's a 5 Star rated service in Keele on Yell.com and Facebook! I work really hard to continue my professional development so that I can deliver the best quality of care possible.
