Overnight Sitting

What if my dog(s) have particular health issues?

I have many years of experience caring for sick and/or senior pets. This has meant that I have hands on experience administering medication, whether it be oral tablet/liquid,ear drops or eye drops. I have cared for dogs with Cancer, Arthritis, Cushing's disease, allergies and many more. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Complete Canine Care (Distinction). I also have two first aid qualifications, one of which required a year of study and essay writing, and I have practical experience recognising symptoms, monitoring health and administering first aid if necessary. I have vet release forms, with emergency contacts, so that urgent veterinary care can be obtained if necessary.

Where is the sitting held?

Overnight sitting is one of my most popular services. This is currently carried out at your property in line with new legislation introduced in October 2018. This allows your dog(s) to stay in the comfort of their own home, without the stress of a new environment or dog kennels. Any other smaller pets, such as cats, will also be cared for. Having the sitting in your very own home also means I can keep an eye on your house while you are away and small jobs can be done, such as putting the bins out or watering indoor plants.

What does the dog sitting include?

I understand how nerve wracking it can be leaving your beloved fur babies behind, especially when its for a long period of time. However, I can assure you that I provide an excellent quality of service to ensure your pets are happy and healthy and that you can have peace of mind while you are away. Walks, feeding, play sessions and grooming are included in the price, apart from the very last day of the booking.(please arrange a free consultation to discuss prices) Walks are usually 30-40 minutes long, depending on weather and the physical needs of your dog. If there are other pets in the home, these can also be cared for as well.
